Status: active Figma assembly contract.

## Scope

Use this contract for short, text-only Tooltip overlays. The component is an
overlay, not normal-flow content; its concrete placement belongs to the invoking
screen or composition.

## Source Evidence

- Direct Figma evidence: Figma Tooltip
node `3620:11658` passed context and screenshot checks (`240×48`).
- The Repair Requests target records its Tooltip as a published library asset;
screen-specific position and trigger evidence remains in
  `specs/ux/screens/repair-requests.figma-target.json`.

## Required Assembly

- Rule ID: `tooltip.published` — use the published Tooltip instance for the visible overlay. Do not recreate a
popup-like surface from a frame, arrow, and text.
- Keep one short text block only. Tooltip does not own a title, subtitle,
controls, rich body, arrow, or persistent content.
- Preserve the verified maximum-width example (`240px`), `12px` horizontal and
`8px` vertical padding, `8px` radius, tooltip background, inverted text, and
  description typography bindings.
- Position the overlay in the parent/screen interaction composition rather than
forcing it into the trigger's Auto Layout flow.

## Verification Checklist

- The overlay is an undetached library Tooltip instance.
- It contains only concise explanatory text and no local action layout.
- Surface, text, radius, and spacing remain token-bound.
- Trigger-specific placement, fallback, delay, and accessible naming remain
  documented at the use site.
